Sarah Howeth LMFT

Sarah by the numbers:

1 book-club-that-doesn’t-read-books member
7 days-a-week she enjoys waking up before the sun
2 sweet, long-haired dogs
Countless times she has used a lint roller

Sarah (she/her) is Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. She received her graduate education at Lewis & Clark College, and her undergraduate education at the University of California at Santa Barbara.

Working from a stance that promotes social justice is integral to Sarah’s practice. She has clinical experience supporting clients with trauma (event-based, relational/complex, systemic), substance use, and relationship issues. Sarah often works with clients who hold non-dominant identities, such as being queer, gender non-conforming, non-monogamous, and/or BIPOC, and brings an anti-oppressive lens to her work.

Sarah is a white, cis, hetero-passing, able-bodied, middle class woman living and working in Portland, Oregon (occupied land of the Clackamas and Cowlitz).

Outside of the therapy world, Sarah is delighted when she gets to spend time outdoors, and can often be found exploring nature or some of the plentiful food spots in Portland with her loved ones.
