Maggie earned her master’s degree in social work from Metropolitan State University of Denver in 2021 and is currently a licensed clinical social worker in Oregon and Colorado. Prior to joining Portland DBT Institute, she worked with adults at a community based behavioral health center in Colorado. She received intensive DBT training from Behavioral Tech in 2021-2022 and Portland DBT Institute in 2023-2024. In August 2024, she became certified in DBT by the Linehan Board of Certification. She has also been trained by Melanie Harned, PhD, in DBT-PE to treat people with PTSD. Maggie is passionate about providing DBT to individuals and groups to help people build a life worth living.

In her free time, Maggie enjoys spending time with her spouse, their two very-active dogs, reading, and participating in outdoor activities.
