Lea Larch is a licensed professional counselor who graduated with a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling in 2014 from “We Are Marshall”  University in West Virginia. Lea has spent the majority of her career treating adults with chronic mental health conditions, like mood disorders, substance use, personality, and trauma-related disorders in a variety of treatment settings. She is a licensed counselor in multiple states across the country and has specialized in Alcohol and Drug counseling throughout her career.

Lea has an endless passion for others. She holds true to the DBT assumptions that everyone is doing the best they can, people want to improve their lives, and she is dedicated to helping others find and keep a life worth living. She regularly uses mindfulness techniques and DBT skills in her own life.

Lea is no stranger to struggles herself and has frequently used her imagination, creativity and finding a sense of community to navigate her way through life. She also uses these skills in her downtime by playing role playing games, board games, and video games. She also enjoys hiking, kayaking, and white-water rafting in the beautiful West Virginia mountains.

At PDBTI, Lea works with adults in the Standard Full Program, the Intensive Outpatient program, and the Enhanced Skills Training program. She plans to start working toward her official DBT-LBC certification while at PDBTI.
